چکیده
A new category of commercial bulk fill composite resins (CRs) enables the placement 4-mm-thick layers as an alternative to traditional time-consuming incremental technique. The purpose present study was compare efficiency polymerization, adaptation and porosity two high-viscosity ‘sculptable’ CRs (Filtek™ Bulk Fill (3M™ ESPE, St. Paul, MN, USA) Tetric EvoCeram® (Ivoclar Vivadent AG, Schwan, Liechtenstein)) low-viscosity ‘flowable’ (SureFil® SDR™ flow (Dentsply Sirona, Charlotte, NC, EvoFlow® Schaan, Liechtenstein)). Cylindrical samples (4 mm height × 10 diameter) were analyzed by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) atomic force microscopy (AFM). Additionally, occlusal cavities prepared in twelve extracted human molars restored with (n = 3 for each CR). evaluated X-ray microcomputed tomography (µCT) a 3D morphometric analysis, also scanning electron (SEM) on longitudinal vestibulo-oral sections teeth. AFM analysis demonstrated that surface roughness SureFil® higher than Filtek™ Fill. µCT SEM confirmed flowable had excellent cavity walls. showed highest lowest degrees Fill, respectively. In general, exhibited better adaptation, polymerization lower sculptable materials.

متن کاملIn-Vitro Evaluation of Microleakage of Class II Cavities Restored with Bulk-Fill Flowable Composite
Background and Aim: Composite placement poses many challenges, especially in the gingival floor with dentinal margins. Microleakage is one of the factors affecting the longevity of dental restorations. We aimed to compare the microleakage of cavities filled with bulk-fill composite at enamel and dentinal margins. Materials and Methods: In this experimental study, a total of 102 sound human pre...
